The Mountain of the Cannibal God (1978)
Sergio Martino’s 1978 jungle film* MOUNTAIN OF THE CANNIBAL GOD* offers more than just blonde bombshell Ursula Andress in various stages of undress.
It’s a study in extremes: The beauty of nature vs. the violence of nature; pacifism vs. the fight for survival; the noble savage and the… well… savage savage. The contrasts don’t stop there either. The first two acts of MOUNTAIN are occassionally violent* but more or less* benign. However it’s the grisly and often explicit third act that will leave you slack-jawed and wondering “What the hell am I watching.”

Cannibal Ferox 2 (1985)
Plot Outline: A small charter plane carrying a mixed group of people* including a dinosaur bone hunter* a college professor and his daughter* a Vietnam veteran and his drunk wife and a porn photographer and two of his stars* crash lands in a remote part of the Amazon jungle. Knowing that they were off course and that any rescue mission would be miles away* the group decides to trek through the jungle in the hope of reaching safety. They must battle cannibals* slave traders and all of the natural wonders of the jungle if they are to survive.

Cannibal (2005)
In 2002* German police arrested Armin Meiwes for posting an Internet message looking for a male who would allow Meiwes to eat him. To their horror* authorities found a video tape showing that in 2001 Meiwes had found a willing victim in Bernd Brandes. Though the video showed the graphic killing of Brandes* the German courts were faced with a quandary since Brandes had agreed to allow Meiwes to eat him. The subsequent trial and media attention brought up many questions ranging from freedom of speech on the Internet to debates about consensual homicide. In 2005* German filmmaker Marian Dora made a highly stylized dramatization of the case* CANNIBAL.

Cannibal Holocaust (1980)
There are two timelines in the film* one depicting Monroe's trip into the jungle to determine the fate of the American explorers* and the other involving Monroe's subsequent viewing of the recovered films made by the missing explorers. Much of the film is the depiction of the recovered film's content* which functions similarly to a flashback and grows increasingly disturbing as the film progresses.
