SKIDROW brings us The Void - aka Tension - out of Russia. It looks pretty decent and has been getting good reviews. Also interesting to note is that when the game appeared on a certain Russian torrent tracker, the developers talked to the downloaders in the thread, answered game related questions and encouraged them to buy the game. It might be worth checking this one out. Enjoy! Description: The Void is about a soul that accidentally lingered in the Void, before absolute death. The Void is a purgatory-like place, in which the most valuable thing is Color, a liquid that represents lifeforce. Color is scarce and famine is a usual thing for its dwellers - beautiful naked Sisters and deformed monstrous Brothers. Color is a universal resource in the game - at the same time it is the hero?s health, armor, stats and ammo. With the help of Nameless Sister, the soul finds out that there is a way to escape and be reincarnated again on the surface, but in order to do this the player must disguise himself as one of the Brothers and eventually confront them. Features: * Lympha - the unified resource: the currency, the hero?s health, armory and inventory, the character?s stat system and the world settings. * All the actions are done via drawing by Lympha. The amount of Lympha used influences the effectiveness of the result. * The diversity of gameplay based greatly on random appearance and distribution of resources. * 7 colors of Lympha are of the same value of nutrition, but produce a different effect in the same situations, if used. * Each color of Lympha can benefit and each can harm. The player can take advantage of a color, though even a drop of any color can change the world of the Gap. * The game has a fixed time limit of 35 cycles (A cycle represent a rough equivalent to a in game day).
