Encouraged by Pepper Potts and assisted by Jim Rhodes, the 16 year old genius, begins to investigate the suspicious activities carried out by Obadiah Stane, now the acting C.E.O. of Stark Industries. But an even deadlier foe is waiting... The Mandarin.

Believing that Tony Stark can find his missing Makluan Rings, Mandarin's true identity of 16-Year-Old Gene Khan enrolls in Tony's school. When Maggia henchmen Killer Shrike and Unicorn kidnap Tony, Pepper, and Gene in a plot to undermine Mandarin and his Tong Triad.

Episode 4 - Cold War
While trying to stop Obadiah Stane, Iron Man thinks he has found a kindred spirit in the Blizzard. However, Tony soon discovers that they are not alike when Blizzard wants to kill Obadiah Stane.

Episode 5 - Whip Lash
Pepper's dreams of adventure and excitement goes down a different road when her FBI father is targeted by an arms dealer named Mr. Fix. When her father is in the hospital, Pepper turns to Iron Man for help when she is targeted by Mr. Fix's cybernetic hatchet man Whiplash.

Episode 6 - Iron Man VS The Crimson Dynamo
Two years ago, an astronaut named Ivan Vanko was lost in space. Two minutes ago, he crashed down into the middle of New York City. Vanko is alive thanks to the massive environmental suit he was wearing dubbed ‘the Crimson Dynamo’ (it was designed to survive the harshest conditions imaginable). But after years in space, all Vanko wants is revenge on the people who left him behind...Project Pegasus.

Episode 7 - Meltdown
Tony Stark learns that he has to graduate in order to determine the future of Stark Industries. This won't be easy when Living Laser uses Howard Stark's technology.

Episode 8 - Field Trip
Upon sneaking into Stark Industries, Tony's Stealth Armor shorts out, forcing him to leave it in a vault. To ensure that Stane does not find it, Tony, Rhodey and Pepper set up with a field trip for the school so that Tony can get replacement powers cells on the armor. The problem is, Stane bars Tony from entering the building, Rhodey and Pepper must help find a way to get Tony out of Stark Industries First appearance of Whitney Stane.

Episode 9 - Ancient History 101
Tony and his friends search the ancient ruins for the Makluan Rings. Things don't go well when the Dreadknights arrive.

Episode 10 - Ready, A.I.M., Fire
At a school science fair, Tony is approached by the Controller on behalf of A.I.M. and tricked into making a mind/machine interface work. The head of A.I.M., angered that this may compromise their M.O.D.O.K project orders all efforts on the interface to cease and Tony and the others exterminated. However, Tony has already been successful, allowing the Controller to take over his friends. Now Iron Man must step in and save the day, only to find his life being saved in the process by the daughter of his greatest enemy.

Episode 11 - Seeing Red
Rhodey becomes concerned over Tony's plans to increasingly weaponize the Iron Man armor using reverse engineered captured tech. Obadiah Stane offers to bail out Project Pegasus in return for the Crimson Dynamo armor which is upgraded to capture Iron Man, resulting in a pitched battle in the middle of the city that leaves Stane furious at the reckless endangerment of innocent lives. After barely managing to escape a furious Tony dons a version of the Hulkbuster armor in order to use a virus to destroy Pegasus' advanced AI Delphi, both to defeat the Dynamo and prevent Stane from acquiring detailed technical data on Iron Man. Though successful, there is an unexpected consequence.

Episode 12 - Masquerade
When Obadiah starts acting strangely, Iron Man investigates and discovers that "Obadiah" is being impersonated by a villain named Madame Masque. When she sets her sights on Iron Man, she begins to frame Iron Man of various crimes. It's revealed that Masque is actually Stane's own daughter Whitney, using a stolen invention of Stark's father to strike out at her own for neglecting her.

Episode 13 - Hide and Seek
Tony and Gene find the third Makluan Ring. When trying to claim the ring, Gene ends up awakening the ring's guardian Ultimo. While Iron Man deals with Ultimo, Mandarin appears as well.

Mr. Fix equips Whiplash with a virus that traps Tony in the Iron Man armor.
