Songbird is a combination of a desktop web player, a digital jukebox and web browser.

It also serves as an alternative to proprietary media players such as iTunes. Imagine simplicity, security and usability all converged into one product. Well it’s not that hard to imagine once you’ve tried Songbird.

Oh yes, another neat thing is that you can actually add in plugins. No, it’s not the puny amount of plugins as seen in WMP. There are tons of it for Songbird available on the site itself.
