Plot Sysnopsis:
A disgraced school master, Benjamin Twist, is mistaken for a tough prison governor and assigned the charge of a prison for particularly hardened criminals.
Believing he is being sent to a school rather than a prison, he celebrates accordingly only to find that his drunkenness accidently lands him on the wrong side of the prison bars. The Governorship is eventually restored to him, and he sets about popularising himself amongst the convicts by turning a blind eye to their shady dealings.

Hay plays Benjamin Twist, a man whose ambitions outstrip his abilities. Twist is a porter on an ocean liner bound for America who, through convoluted plot twists, finds himself masquerading as a professor. Teaming up with a gangster stowaway (Edgar Kennedy), Twist finds himself embroiled in a kidnap plot on the far side of the pond that is complicated by the fact that two sets of gangsters are attempting to get their hands on the ransom money.

I don't know what went wrong in the first place to tell ya the truth.
They were all ripped in exactly the same way... using the same progam and settings.
Baffled... (a great word!) describes my state when the synch probs were highlighted.
