On an Island is the third solo album by David Gilmour, best known as the voice and guitar of the legendary Pink Floyd. Along with David's vocal and instrumental talents, the album features many very special guests: David Crosby and Graham Nash sing harmonies; Robert Wyatt plays cornet and percussion; Guy Pratt plays bass; Caroline Dale contributes on cello; Alasdair Molloy performs on glass harmonica; and Richard Wright guests on Hammond organ and vocals.
